Activities - Week 10 (half-term)

Good morning and Eid Mubarak, Year 6! We hope that all of you who celebrated Eid this weekend had a wonderful time. It's half-term this week, so we won't be posting any of our regular literacy, maths or topic lessons until Monday 1st June. However, we'd still love to read your stories from last week's literacy learning, hear your answers to Friday's maths challenges, and see your Mount Everest work (and anything else you've been working on). There are lots of learning activities which we have posted over the past nine weeks, so if you think you've missed any, take a look back at previous blog posts (especially if you've been doing your literacy and maths learning, but not your topic learning)! Good morning, Year 6! Some of you have had trouble finding the books on ActiveLearn. They aren't in the Library section - you need to click on the 'My Stuff' section and then on the picture of the green bug that's reading a book. This will take you to Bug Club, which is where the books are. Thank you to everyone who has sent us emails about the learning that you've been doing at home (and some lovely artwork to display on the school gates).  If we haven't replied to you, then we haven't received your email!  You can email us pictures of your work, questions and messages for the school gates at:  year6.cabot@bristol-schools.uk Maths Starter Go on Mathletics for at least 10 minutes. Good morning, Year 6! Thank you to everyone who has sent us emails about the learning that you've been doing at home (and some lovely artwork to display on the school gates). Good morning, Year 6! If you haven't managed to do any topic learning so far this week, please make sure you do some today. You have got lots to pick from! There's science and P.E. in Monday's blog, R.E. and PSHE in Tuesday's blog, French and history in Wednesday's blog, geography and art in Thursday's blog post, and computing (and a library activity) in today's blog post. We will be asking you to email us a photo to show us some of the work you have been doing from this week onwards, so do make sure that you are keeping up with your learning activities. Good morning, Year 6! Make sure you've checked the blog posts for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday first. Then, have a look at today's learning activities. We will be asking you to email us a photo to show us some of the work you have been doing from this week onwards, so do make sure that you are keeping up with your learning activities. Good morning, Year 6! If you haven't already, then please check Monday and Tuesday's blog posts before looking at today's learning activities. GPS If you haven't already had a go at this week's work on semi-colons, go back and remind yourself how to use them first! Once you're ready, try this activity:  semi-colon activity . (You will need to decide where the semi-colon should go in each sentence, then drag and drop it into the correct place.)
