On Monday afternoon, Year 6 visited Lifeskills. We were so impressed with the way that they had recreated so many different places, from a bank to a Co-op shop, to a train station, to a building site! Children worked in small groups to identify risks in hazardous situations, and to learn how to manage these dangers. Some scenarios involved calling up the 'emergency services', whilst others taught us how to look after our bikes and how to calculate change. We had an incredible trip, and we'll definitely recommend next year's Year 6 to visit Lifeskills to help them learn how to be safe in hazardous situations!
