Year 6 2021-22

Towards the end of term, we went to St Paul's Learning Centre, where we had been offered a free workshop to learn about light, chemistry and photography. We took self-portraits with pinhole cameras and make cyanotypes. Who knew that you could do so much with sunlight and chemicals?!

During Maths Week, we took part in a Maths Escape Room: a race against the clock to unlock padlocks, solve maths problems and stop the timer before it ran out. Year 6 worked together in partnership and did really well; two teams 'escaped' before the time ran out, and two were on the last problem when they ran out of time. We'd definitely recommend having a go for yourself!
